Your Can-Am Maverick X3 windshield is easy to install. Industrial strength velcro straps are used to mount the windshield directly to the roll cage for a solid fit and attachment, making your windshield very versatile.
One thoughtful design feature is a bend at the top of the windshield which directs the airflow away from the rider instead of allowing the full force of the wind to hit your face. Each windshield has vinyl and foam end-caps protecting the vehicle from damage and stopping any rattling for a quieter ride. Made in USA.
Why we use polycarbonate:
It was a simple decision–polycarbonate is superior to glass or acrylics for the purposes of UTV windshields. Two sided scratch resistant polycarbonate is the only material we use to craft our windshields because it is lighter than glass and stronger than both glass and acrylic, which makes it ideally suited for Can-Am Maverick X3 windshields.
**Because it is lightweight it saves on gas and cuts down on the weight load.
In everyday use polycarbonate is the more durable. Acrylic windshields may develop stress cracks and eventual break. Glass can chip and crack. Polycarbonate also carries a warranty against hazing, breakage, coating failure and loss of light transmission. It can withstand the elements without weathering better than many other plastics will.
Your side by side windshield will stop rocks and other objects with the additional benefit of a scratch resistant coating. For the unique combination of light transmittance (clarity), the ability to withstand extreme impact, durability and lightweight we chose polycarbonate to use on all of our windshields.
