Grateful for the Ride: A Thanksgiving Reflection from Clearly Tough

Thanksgiving is about slowing down, looking around, and appreciating what really matters. For us UTV lovers, that usually happens somewhere between a muddy trail, a cold morning ride, and a windshield covered in dust, rain, or snow. As another riding season winds down, we’re taking a moment to reflect on what made this past year one to be thankful for.

First and foremost, we’re grateful for the riders.

UTV owners are a special breed. You ride in weather most people avoid. You haul gear, friends, dogs, and sometimes questionable snacks into places that don’t show up on maps. You push machines hard and expect them to keep up. Every message, review, photo, and trail story you share reminds us why we do what we do. Seeing our windshields out on real machines, in real conditions, never gets old.

We’re also thankful for the trails themselves.

Public lands, backcountry routes, forest roads, desert paths, and snow-covered passes give all of us a reason to get outside. These places challenge us, ground us, and keep the UTV lifestyle alive. We’re grateful for the land managers, volunteers, and advocacy groups who work behind the scenes to keep trails open and accessible. Without them, the ride stops short.

This year reminded us how much weather shapes the UTV experience.

We’re thankful for rain that keeps dust down, snow that turns rides into adventures, and even the mud that makes you laugh once you’re back home and clean again. Weather tests riders and equipment alike, and it pushes us to build products that actually hold up. Every storm helped us refine our designs and improve how we protect riders from the elements.

Speaking of building, we’re incredibly grateful for the people who make it all happen.

From the folks who cut, shape, pack, and ship our windshields to the partners who help us source materials and keep production moving, none of this happens solo. Small teams, big effort, and a shared commitment to quality go a long way. We’re proud of the work we put out and even prouder of the people behind it.
